What is HYPOTHYROIDISM?

Studies in patients with mild hypothyroidism showed that many of them will have more severe hypothyroidism in the future.Hypothyroidism is caused mainly by an inflammation of the thyroid called Hashimoto's thyroiditis. This autoimmune disease causes the body itself attacks your thyroid.The examination in family may reveal individuals with thyroid disease because these diseases tend to be hereditary.
